2018 Summer Intern - Paid Search

Go Google something. Curious why you see what you did? Did you see an ad? Well, in paid search, it’s our job to place that ad. We research keywords, bid on those keywords and write the ad copy that will show. We not only test our analytic skills by monitoring impressions, clicks, cost per click and click-through rates, but also utilize creative thinking by writing enticing ad copy for the user to click. Similarly, have you ever had a pair of shoes follow you around on the web? That is display retargeting. In addition to search, we utilize programmatic ad buying to target the right audience on the right website. Data is utilized similarly to search to optimize performance. You know those annoying pre-roll videos on YouTube? That’s us, too. Targeting on YouTube is similar to keyword targeting, but much more entertaining. We also monitor similar metrics and optimize for a better performing video. Basically, if you like numbers and the internet, this job is for you. Deadline: Friday, March 16, 2018.
