The Strategist brings business savvy and consumer understanding to the art of brand positioning, communication strategy, and multi-channel marketing. This discipline is also referred to as Strategic Account Planning.

Strategists are asked to use their smarts and passion to:

  • Analyze business situations of all shapes and sizes
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research projects
  • Develop memorable, differentiated brand positioning
  • Create communication strategies for multi-channel brand initiatives
  • Inspire and riff with creative teams
  • Measure how our creative impacts the marketplace


  • Proactive, curious thinker
  • Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong storyteller and presenter
  • Able to work effectively with different types of people
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


  • 3+ years of agency experience in brand strategy/account planning
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, advertising or strategic communications preferred
