Account Manager, ISM

In this role we'll need you to establish, manage and build strong client relationships through the development of smart marketing and advertising while upholding the high standards in creative work and production quality. Day-in and day-out you should meet or exceeds the client's expectations through a relational style that meets our mission, objectives and agency values. 

Client Relationship

  • Own the client relationship while knowing when to bring internal subject matter experts to the table in order to have effective and intelligent conversations
  • Be more than an order taker... maintain effective relationships with all client personnel in order to build a foundation of trust, allowing Periscope to become a valued partner
  • Become an expert in the client's business 
  • Continually guide the client to focus on solving the problem at hand, not what the deliverable should be
  • Master the art of client communication and know how to keep your client in sync with day-to-day activities so there are no surprises


  • Seamlessly provide the right information to the right people at the right time (we know... easier said than done!) 
  • Constantly maintain a source of truth: written records of all directions, scope of work documents, recommendations, meetings, client decisions or approvals, etc. 
  • Articulate effective strategic rationale and logic flow
  • Be a good listener


  • Review and approve proposals, estimates, job costs and invoices, and credit memos, and resolve any problems
  • Assure that client receives adequate explanation for any unexpected billings


  • 5 + years in marketing/marketing communications/advertising agency or client organization (agency preferred), or equivalent. College degree required.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management skills
  • Ability to think strategically across a product's entire ecosystem - from print to digital to broadcast to social
  • Ability to create insightful competitive reviews, understand qualitative and quantitative research and offer a unique point of view
  • Professional experience with Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite
